Find Great Value in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME
Ancient Prophecy Special Edition from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – October 16, 2009 – Ancient Prophecy Special Edition gives Duelists another chance to collect all of their favorite cards from the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's TRADING CARD GAME booster release from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Featuring an additional card never before released in North America, Ancient Prophecy Special Edition is one of the most anticipated releases this quarter.

Each Ancient Prophecy Special Edition box includes three packs of Ancient Prophecy and one of two Super Rare variant cards. Previously released only as a video game promotional card in Europe, “Red-Eyes Wyvern” will be the prized card for many, as it is critical for Summoning “Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon” – a vital combo in any modern Dragon Deck.

Meanwhile, fans of the extremely powerful and popular Lightsworn Deck will be eager to get the “Solar Recharge” card to add to their Deck. Lightsworn Decks made an extremely strong showing at the recent SHONEN JUMP Championship in Orlando, Florida. “Solar Recharge” is a vital component of any Lightsworn Deck, and Duelists looking to build their own Lightsworn Decks will have an easier time of it with this card's re-release in Ancient Prophecy Special Edition. Additional cards for the Lightsworn Deck will be reprinted in the recently-announced upcoming Stardust Overdrive Special Edition and Twilight Edition.

At an approximate retail price of $9.99, the Ancient Prophecy Special Edition is great value, and its powerful variant cards will make the Ancient Prophecy Special Edition a must-have for players of all skill levels.

The Yu-Gi Oh! 5D's animated series can be seen in the United States Monday through Saturday on Cartoon Network. The original Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series can be seen Saturday mornings on The CW 4Kids Network. For more information on Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., the Yu-Gi-Oh! This is going to be a great set, Solar Recharge will help decks that are starting to tech lightsworns, and drasticaly improve Hopless Dragon decks (not to mention decrease the price of the deck). Solar Recharge won't matter very much now, but wait until Honest and Charge are reprinted...

What happened to charge of the light brigade? Wasn't it supposed to be in here? Solar recharge is also not an essential in lightsworn. It helps yes, but it's not an essential. I don't think charge or honest are going to get reprinted anytime soon. Idk who it is that keeps starting that rumor but i'd like for them to stop, now!!! If honest got reprinted it would get limited to 1 at the most probably 2. If charge gets reprinted it will be limited immediately. For now, lightsworns are a really expensive deck to build. I think konami created them so that instead of the rich people being able to play everything exactly as they're supposed to (stupid net-deckers), they will now have a bit of luck and chance determining their wins and losses. This is because konami wants to weed out the net-deckers so that skilled players and people with true talent can come forth and claim their rightful titles.

description of a net-decker:
a net-decker is someone who goes online (on 'the net') and looks at the top decklists, then decides which one fits their strategy, then (since they're usually rich) go out and spend their money on the entire deck. These people obviously have no deck building skill at all seeing as how they have to copy other peoples decks and steal their ideas just to make top 8. They don't have to know what's a smart play or not. They just look up every 'how to play (lightsworn, BW, chaos, monarch, etc.)' on youtube. Oh, and my favorite part. Since they don't want to look like net-deckers, they tweak the deck to fit their playstyle. Now why on earth do you think the deck made top 8 in the first place? seriously, did it do that by losing? I don't think so. I'm going to use a meta I created as an example. The name is demise OTK. Now, don't go expecting the new version or the 2nd version. I'm going to show you the original version.

monsters 19:
3 demise, king of armageddon
3 manju of the ten-thousand hands
2 sonic bird
2 senju of the thousand hands
3 doom dozer
3 insect knight
3 neo bug

spells 12:
3 advanced ritual art
1 metamorphosis
1 megamorph
1 premature burial
1 contract with the dark
1 heavy storm
1 giant trunade
1 mystical space typhoon
1 lightning vortex
1 smashing ground

traps 9:
3 threatening roar
3 waboku
1 mirror force
1 torrential tribute
1 ring of destruction

extra deck:
3 cyber twin dragon

The changes the net-deckers made were kinda like this:

-3 threatening roar
+3 reckless greed
-3 waboku
+3 other stuff

I'd like to now explain the following, otherwise known as, 'I just made top 8 in regionals, don't you think I thought of that' seriously, threatening roar is always_ has always been_ and will always be_ BETTER than reckless greed. Let me tell you why that is. First off. When you play reckless greed you're losing a card because 'reckless greed' (after resolving) goes to the graveyard, a -1 to card advantage. Then you draw 2 cards for the effect. A +2 to card advantage. Giving us the appearance of an overall +1. Now let's look at the drawbacks of reckless greed. 'skip your next 2 draw phases'. Do you know what this means? It means that over the course of the next 2 turns you could've drawn both of those cards and still have a different card replacing the reckless greed which (i assume) is something that serves about the same purpose. Whereas, had you played reckless greed, after losing 2 draw phases you'd be at a total of -1 in card advantage and your opponent would've drawn their next 2 cards as well giving a total of -3 to card advantage. Threatening roar on the other hand, let's say this is the card replacing reckless greed. Instead of drawing a bunch of useless cards, you can prevent your opponent from attacking you and still gain a new card at your next draw phase. Take this into account next time you want to run reckless greed. Would you rather have a faster inconsistent deck, or a consistent deck that can save it's own ass.

 ... who cares lol

what are u taking about dude???
i kinda skips lines on ur thing but reckless is much more offensive then troar
u know y i use reckless??
cause i use d-draw and allure
so it is easy for me to draw at least 2 reckless, which is -2, +4 and -2( for the 2 draw phase)
so it is -0, who would not use -0 draw power, like allure and d-draw and ( this happens like every other matches) i can pull all 3 reckless off at once, or drawing to reckless when i use a double reckless (+6,-3,-2=+1)
and i use PWWB, i need to discard a card the effect and i would much rather dump my maliy , PSZ, or mezuki instead of my d-draw, DAD, or stables
reckless let me BE consistence

best defense is a good offense
tRoar ( technically -1 ) is only defense

i have no idea what u were talking about for the reprint thining a net-decker

when synchro cat came out
i was lucky enough to have all the cards for it beside a arcanit magican but i went and build one, and i add my person taste of a sanmit and bestiori in to it, i never run a glad deck but adding sanmit, i can search it with cat and tag out for bestori and mind control was at 3, easliy take control of ur glad beast opponets and tag out with ur own bestiori

they reprint all the expensive cards because they want to make more money, LS's over all price is droping, lots of people is starting to build a LS, cause honest, charge, and recharge, is reprinting. Yugioh can make so much more money because of that
i am definitly buying 3 honest when it came out
and by reprint all these, they are dropping the overall price of the game.
I did not top 8 regional at setpmber but i was top 50 and it was my first regional
i played 1 LS the whole 9 rounds and 5 W deck and 2 GB, and 1 tele-dad
y is bw so much more than LS, cause they are cheaper.....
soon lightsowrn will be as cheap

and it is NOT a rumor that honest and charge is reprinting soon
u gota pay attention to the news dude
here go on this web and check
Honest: http: www.yugioh-card.com en products twilight.html
Charge: http: www.yugioh-card.com en products se-sovr.html

good luck and learn the game dude!!!

PS:
people run tRoar is becasue OTK is very INCONSISTENT so they need 3 tRoar and 3 wabuko to save their ass, where others dont and can use more draw power,
if a deck have a good draw power, if wont be inconsistent (unless it is exsodia)

OH and recharge is VERY IMPORTANT
find a top 8 LS who doesnt use 3 recharge
some might only use 2 CHARGE, but always 3 RECHARGE lol
