All of the big name players are still indulging in their two rounds of byes, but we found a cool all-rogue match for Round 2's feature! Mickey Plunkitt is here today from Frankfort, Indiana with his Frog Monarch deck, and he hails from the Shadow Realm Game Club. Michael Witt is from San Jose, California and he brought his Mythic Ruler deck today. He wants to give a shout out to his local store Justflip. Witt won the die roll and opted to go first!

Witt opened with Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Trade-In, Dragon Shrine, Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos, and Foolish Burial. He started off with Trade-In discarding Blue-Eyes two draw Koa'ki Meiru Drago and Cards of Consonance. He then played Dragon Shrine to send another Blue-Eyes and Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms to the grave. From there he Normal Summoned Koa'ki Meiru Drago. Next, he banished Tempest and Blue-Eyes for the Blaster he had in his hand, and searched out a Debris Dragon with Tempest. Plunkitt activated The Monarchs Stormforth to tribute the Blaster for Vanity's Fiend, and then seconds later Witt was scooping his cards up!

Despite not drawing a Tribute Monster for the first several turns Plunkitt manages to mount a comeback! This was definitely not the matchup either of these players were expecting, and if Michael Witt ends up continuing his X-1 record we might feature him later in the day! This might've been the only rogue deck Face-Off in the whole tournament this round, and it's awesome that we got it for our feature match.
